《女性与教育》是由澳大利亚墨尔本大学教育研究院的政策、环境和评估研究系的加布里埃尔·拉可姆斯基(Gabriele Lakomski)负责编辑的。这是全书中新加进来的一部分，主要是为了从国际视角来说明、记录并解释女童和妇女在教育方面为什么会成功，又为什么会失败。
