《听说与译述》由冯超、何刚强主编，高等学校翻译专业本科教材分为语言能力、笔译能力、口译能力、学科素养四大板块，其编写紧扣翻译专业培养目标，力图区别于传统英语专业的翻译教学，突出“翻译专业”特色。教材以提高翻译能力为导向，注重夯实学生的中英文语言功底，培养基本的翻译意识，使学生了解基本的翻译理论，掌握基本的翻译技巧。
