裴文著的《语言时空论（英文版）（精）》介绍：语言时空观是研究语言的一种根本性的观点。它将时间和空间视为语言系统整体性存在的必要组成部分。在时空观的视界里，时间和空间必然被理解为概念的存在，而且，它们的概念应当是从语言系统整体存在中获得的。以这种观点来认识语言，从时间和空间不断交融的过程重新探索语言及语言流变现象之间的联系，解释语言时空视域之下语言所彰显的流变着的网络状态，并由此抽绎出一种全新的且有张力的研究方法。

裴文，Pei Wen is Professor of linguistics at Nanjing University, China. She was educated at NanjingUniversity and completed her doctorate. She was a visitor to the department of linguistics at HarvardUniversity from 1998 to 1999, and to Wolfson College at Cambridge University from 2004 to 2005.She has written extenswely on different aspec s of language, Varieties of Modern English(1998, 2000),Context in Modern English(2000), Semantics of Modern English (2001), and Saussure: The AuthenticFeature and Its "Tension(2003, 2006), On Sanskrit(2007), Cambridge Notes on Linguistics(2008),Linguistic Gender(2009), Sanskrit Course(2010). She is also the translator of Cour de LingusitiqueGenerale(by Ferdinand de Saussure, 2002), Le Langue et La Vie(by Charles Bally,2006). And what ismore, she is the author of quite a few literal works, including poetry Can You See Me? (2005),reportages Cambridge Noted(2006), Harvard Women(1999), and novels Such a Place as University(2010), Men of Letters (2016), etc.
