胡平、张丁月主编的《大学英语读写译巅峰训练》是根据教育部高等学校大学外语教学指导委员会于2015年制定的《大学英语教学指南》和全国大学英语四、六级考试委员会颁布的《全国大学英语四、六级考试大纲》(2016年修订版)而编写的。
本书语料新颖，命题科学，选材和命题与大学英语四级的要求吻合。全书共分为六个单元，每个单元又分三大模块：Module 1：阅读提高与训练；Module 2：写作指导与训练；Module 3：翻译提升与训练。
本书适用对象是国内高等院校非英语专业本科生以及其他有志于提高大学英语读、写、译能力，尤其是准备参加大学英语四级考试的英语学习者。
