SYNOPSIS 　　During the Japanese occupation, philanderer Jang Se-bong travels to a village in Kangwon Province to find the famous female entertainer So Dong-nyo. He anticipates a conflict with Mr. Choi, the village land owner, now a spy for the Japanese police. One day he witnesses Mr. Choi entrap Kim, the father of a resistance fighter, and get him imprisoned and then attack Seol-hee, Kim's daughter-in-law. Se-bong brings his friends Chil-sung and Jae-sik to the scene and they attack him. But Se-bong gets ensnared in Mr. Choi's trap and So Dong-nyo lures Mr. Choi and leads him to be beat up by the villagers.
