简　　介  

　　罗宾（玛丽·露易斯·帕克 Mary-Louise Parker 饰）患上了无法治愈的疾病，命不久矣。为了逃避现实，她决定踏上前往洛杉矶的旅途。简（乌比·戈德堡 Whoopi Goldberg 饰）一直以来都渴望成为一名歌手，无奈始终得不到机会，在机缘巧合之下，简成为了罗宾的司机，和她一同踏上旅程。
　　霍利（德鲁·巴里摩尔 Drew Barrymore 饰）是简的好友，在和男友发生了争执之后，霍利失手打伤了他，并且意围的导致了男友的死亡。身上背着一条人命的霍利选择和罗宾一行人一起远走高飞，在颠簸的旅途中，三个女人之间渐渐产生了坚实的友谊。罗宾的病越来越重，幸运的是，当她行走至人生的尽头时并不是孤身一人。
