　　罗兰德（史蒂文?席格 Steven Seagal 饰）是一名洛杉矶警察，在一次执行任务中，他遇到了生死攸关的麻烦。他的搭档竟然勾结黑社会欲置其于死地。结果他遭到枪击案，身收重伤，倒在血泊中。在医院里，他才赫然醒悟：真正的凶手就是那个卑鄙的搭档。当他痊愈后，他又接到了新的任务——保护一个拥有模特身材的富家女尼基塔?威尔斯（莱齐尔?卡斯坦斯 Liezl Carstens 饰）。在一次派对中，一个富家子弟曼森?希渥（阿荣?希弗 Arron Shiver 饰）泡她时，遇到了一大堆狗仔队。本来，曼森应该老老实实地呆在车里，但是嚣张的他居然出外挑衅。没想到对方是假扮记者的恐怖分子，一顿机枪扫射，他们落荒而逃。结果，歹徒还是捉到了那个尼基塔。为了营救尼基塔，罗兰德不畏艰险再次踏上了征途……
