◎简　　介
　　在法国加莱，有一批来自伊拉克库尔德地区的难民，他们遭受着绝大多数法国人的提防和排挤，热衷于足球的17岁比拉尔（菲拉·阿伊维尔迪 Firat Ayverdi 饰）就是这些难民中的一个。比拉尔梦想着去英国，在通过卡车偷渡失败之后他开始学习游泳，并结识了法国人西蒙（文森特·林顿 Vincent Lindon 饰）。西蒙是游泳馆里的游泳教练，他被比拉尔的认真劲儿吸引，并逐渐对这个年青人产生好感。当西蒙得知比拉尔学习游泳是为了穿越拉芒什海峡时他曾试图劝阻，可是当他得知比拉尔去英国是为了见到女友米娜时，正在办理离婚手续的西蒙竟然决定帮助他……
