◎简　　介
　　伊拉克战争后不久，美国大选临近。总统发言人David Merch（Jon Tenney 饰）在某次采访中称希望在战场上死去的士兵能够回到母亲身边。总统选举筹备组遂以这个“愿望”作为宣传噱头。
　　但没过多久，那些运回祖国的士兵尸体纷纷复活，以僵尸形态前往各个投票站。正当政客大肆宣传这种神迹之时，僵尸士兵却在电视上公开表明他们的反战立场。恼羞成怒的政客对僵尸士兵进行大肆围捕和恐吓，Merch努力说服政客，允许僵尸们投票。就在现任总统即将落败之际，政客通过计票舞弊赢得胜利。此举激怒长眠地下的历次战争的僵尸士兵，他们纷纷爬出坟茔，开始和平与民主的斗争……
