As a child Vatentina Moncada, daughter of a fashion photographer and art lover, enjoyed watching the photo shoots with same of the world's most famous models; at times crossing paths with Cy Twombty, Otiviero Toscani and Verushka, who were regular visitors to her father's studio.

The thrill she felt on seeing the Pop and Minimal Art masterpieces at the National Gallery in Washington where her mother took her when she was just 15 years old left its mark. She knew at once what kind of world she wanted to belong to and the road she would take to get there.

She graduated in New York and began to work in the most prestigious museums and galleries of the city, meeting famous artists and curators.

Valentina Moncada, the protagonist of this fairy tale, learned how to run a contemporary art gallery from the leading players of a unique era; while keeping an eye on the international avant-garde focused on the British scene. It is thanks to her, with her enthusiasm, courage, steadfastness and skill in organizing top exhibitions, that established and up-and-coming artists have come to the Eternal City from all over the world.
