国防大学战略研究所编著的《国际战略形势与中国国家安全(2012-2013)》由《国际战略形势与中国国家安全》中文版翻译而来，是国防大学战略研究所的年度研究报告，是一部质量较好的国际战略形势方面专业报告，共收编相关研究报告论文16篇。本报告采取军地结合，甚至邀请到国际知名学者的加入，较大提升了报告的品质。此外，报告在选题上紧贴世界和中国安全战略形势的前沿问题、热点问题、焦点问题，多数报告分析较深入，研究功夫较深，有利于读者深入了解国际战略局势。
