简　　介  

　　泰德（基努·里维斯 Keanu Reeves 饰）和比尔（亚历克斯·温特 Alex Winter 饰）是就读于同一所高中的同学，两人之间感情十分要好。也许，他们会如此一见如故的原因在于，两人的智商处在同一水平线上，没错，就是那条比别人都低的水平线。更糟糕的是，比尔和泰德在一起只晓得整日游手好闲，丝毫不将心思放在学习上，成绩可想而知。
　　历史考试在即，就在这个节骨眼上，泰德和比尔得知了一个惊天噩耗，如果不能通过这次考试，他们就将无法拿到毕业证书，一下子懵了的两人陷入了手足无措之中。就在此时，一位名叫鲁佛斯（乔治·卡林 George Carlin 饰）的天外来客出现在了他们面前，他自称来自未来世界。无论鲁佛斯所言是真是假，泰德和比尔明白，他是他们那道毕业证书的唯一一根救命稻草。
