Alvarez 饰）是知名艺术家，他需要考虑是否结束放纵、和男友履行一夫一夫制；39岁的多姆（穆雷·巴特利特 Murray Bartlett 饰）一直在做餐厅侍应，经受着中年危机和爱情无望的双重打击。三个人的故事交叉进行，他们都在寻找快乐、寻找亲密，同时也在面对所有同志都需要面对的选择和决定......
　　《寻》是美国HBO台2014年最新同志剧，讲述美国西海岸的同志生活，全部在旧金山实景拍摄。该剧导演是《周末时光》的安德鲁·海格，制片人是开发了《兄弟姐妹》的戴维·马歇尔·格兰特。HBO预订了首季8集，定在1月19日接档《都市女孩》。
