◎简　　介
　　新世纪某个圣诞节前夕，在美国一座位于沙漠腹地的餐馆内，美丽的克莱尔（阿德琳妮·帕里奇 Adrianne Palicki 饰）和男友吉普（卢卡斯·布莱克 Lucas Black 饰）正全心期待新生命的降临。这一天，一名看似和蔼可亲的老妇人造访餐馆，却说出不详的话语，并引发难以想象的血腥争斗。正在此时，沙漠尽头的天空出现诡异景象，仿佛预示着灾难的到来。
　　不久，驾驶警车的神秘男子迈克（保罗·贝坦尼 Paul Bettany 饰）来到这群惶恐之人的面前，尾随而来的还有一群形貌邪恶的怪人。原来，随着工业文明的高度发达，人类的精神世界却堕落得无以复加。上帝不满于此，于是决定派出天使大军毁灭人类。而身为天使长的迈克却对此并不认同，他孤军奋战，只为保护人类最后的希望——克莱尔腹中的孩子……
