　　故事相当有趣，描写富家子亚瑟为了解决烦恼，竟然聘请职业杀手干掉自己，但后来改变主意，因为他爱上了一名白天在大学念考古学的脱衣舞女郎。为了逃避杀手，亚瑟跑到远东避风头，不料杀手如影随形而至。后来亚瑟终于搞清楚“杀手”的身份原来是保险公司的经纪人，因为他在决定寻死之前买了二百万元的人寿保险。与此同时，亚瑟原来在股票市场损失的大笔财产又奇迹般赚回来。
