◎简　　介
　　　　在并不遥远的近未来，科学界终于揭示了一个足以震撼世人的秘密。看似永恒不动的月球，原来竟是非自然产物，而且一股神秘的力量正在操控着它，以不可逆转的势头撞向地球。布莱恩·哈珀（帕特里克·威尔森 Patrick Wilson 饰）曾是一名资深宇航员，但是最后一次行动以诡异的方式失败，他在外太空的所见所谓似乎也触动了某些人的神经，最终导致他被扫地出门，妻离子散。另一方面，在航空局当保洁工的KC·豪斯曼（约翰·布莱德利 John Bradley 饰）虽然身份低微，却是对航空有着无与伦比痴迷的民科。他最先注意到月球生命体以及月球坠落趋势的存在，而他的发现最终得到了布莱恩以及布莱恩前搭档乔·富勒（哈莉·贝瑞 Halle Berry 饰）的认可。 为了拯救地球，这三个渺小人类朝着来势汹汹的月球发起反攻……
