◎简 介
斯塔尔（阿曼德拉·斯坦伯格 Amandla Stenberg 饰）是一名16岁的黑人少女，就读于一家白人私立学校中，每一天，她都要在学校和家庭之间不断的切换自己的身份，肤色所带来的的困扰令她感到十分的之一。
一天，斯塔尔参加了一场朋友举办的派对，在派对上，她和自己儿时的玩伴哈勒利（阿格利·史密斯 Algee Smith 饰）重逢了。老友相见分外亲热，哈勒利开车载斯塔尔回家，哪知道在半路上遇到了警察的拦检。让斯塔尔没有想到的是，警察竟然因为一个小小的误会就开枪射杀了哈勒利，而自己是唯一的目击证人。在之后的听证会上，哈勒利被形容成为了一个贩毒的小混混，但斯塔尔知道，这一切都是谎言。
